The Poetry Tree

Welcome! to The Poetry Tree

The Poetry Tree is a literary experiment to write collaborative poetry. With most collaborative work, you have to join in at the end. With the Poetry Tree, you can pick any point in the poem, and branch it off in a new direction. If you're not sure how it works, why not try it out?
Right now we have 96 lines of poetry in total.

Poetry Tree

(Start new poem)   In the calm and peaceful night
(replace line)   When the day had gone to bed
(replace line)   I woke up from a frightening dream
(replace line)   That was pounding in my head
(replace line)   I dreamed of dragons
(replace line)   I dreamt of lizards
(replace line)   who were conjured by wizards.
(replace line)   I looked around myself and thought,
(replace line)   "Now what the heck was that about?"

Content: Please do not post any material here that is profane, offensive, illegal, or otherwise unacceptable. I will remove all posts that I deem to unacceptable.
Problems: This is an experimental program. It is likely to have faults. If you find any (or have any other comments or suggestions), please report them to me by sending a private message to me at my WritingForums.com account.
